On a routine shopping trip, I received a quick introduction to Tata Harper, a relatively new skincare line carried exclusively at Neiman Marcus. What makes these products special is that they are 100% natural. Just a few days later, I had the pleasure of attending a luncheon with Tata Harper herself. I learned about this very special lady, her revolutionary thoughts on skincare, and the products she formulates and manufactures herself. Continue reading

Jenn’s Daytime and Nighttime Skin Regimens
A while back, Wendy posted her morning and evening skin regimens. At the time, I was still trying out some products to see what would make the cut for my own skin routines. Now that I’ve decided on my line-up, it’s my turn to share.
The product I was having trouble deciding on were daytime and nighttime serums. Serums should be rich in skin goodies, and due to their thin, liquidy consistencies, they’re able to deliver those goodies deeper into the skin. Judicial Review: Super C-15 w/ Idebenone – Vitamin Cocktail (Ann Webb)
One of the things I love about the Skin Organics line from Ann Webb is that it’s completely up front about the ingredients AND the pH, which is a rarity in the cosmetics world. It’s all printed right on the website and on the container so that speaks volumes for this company.
The claims: “A potent antioxidant blend combining the most absorbable, oil-soluble form of Vitamin C with Idebenone to add protection to your daily moisturizer and help repair damaged skin.” It also claims to be natural, paraben free, cruelty free, gluten free and vegan. [I’m not sure why I’d care about the last two since I don’t plan to spread it on toast, but I’m sure it matters to someone out there so kudos to Skin Organics.]
