Weightlifting Cycle: Four Weeks Later …

Several weeks ago, I wrote about a new weightlifting cycle that I started thanks to my good friend, Kristy.  I made it through all four weeks, and I am very pleased with my new weightlifting prowess.  I’m no Incredible Hulk, but I am feeling good about my new and improved muscles.

Drinking the Kool-Aid: Tales of a CrossFit Convert

A great friend and former roller derby teammate (that’s a post for another day) told me I needed to look into CrossFit because I’d really love it.  I’d been a little bored since quitting derby: a step aerobics class doesn’t quite compare to be knocked around by other women on skates.
