In this series of “Prized Products”, we’ll share those make-up, skincare, and hair products that we just can’t live without.
If you see me wearing eyeliner, 8 times out of 10, I’m wearing Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil. And out of those 8 times, 7 of them I’ll be wearing that eyeliner in Rockstar. Aside from the kick-ass name, it’s a fabulous dark purple color that I think anyone can wear.
This eyeliner earns it’s “24/7” moniker for being a waterproof formula. As a testament to this, I remember being in the Philippines a couple years ago, where it’s permanently humid, and my oldest sister asking me, “What eyeliner do you wear? Because it stays on all day!” When you’re sweaty (which is often the case when you live in Texas), this eyeliner won’t run for the hills. Gotta love that.
The “glide-on” part of the name also holds true. I like to line the inner rim of my eyes with this pencil, and the formula is moist and smooth, unlike many pencil eyeliners that feel dry and rough when you use them on the outside of your eyes, let alone the inner rim. And again, it stays on! The trick is to line your eyes and then not blink for a few seconds to allow the liner to dry. Works buylevitra like a charm, I promise.
Lastly, let’s talk about the Rockstar shade. It’s a deep purple with only a slight shimmer that I think would be a good substitute for anyone that wears charcoal liner on the regular but is ready to punch up the color a bit. And the color is wearable for all occasions. Remember my five-minute face post? When I want to add an extra step, I line the inner rims of my eyes with this pencil.
I recently convinced a good friend who is a natural redhead with very fair skin to buy this exact product. She reluctantly admitted that I was right and loves it. When I want to go a little more dramatic with my eyes, more than what the Rockstar shade offers, then I’ll wear this eye pencil in Zero, their solid black shade.
I don’t know how many pencils of this I’ve gone through, but it’s been many. And more than once, I’ve gone to buy it at Sephora, and it’s sold out. Clearly, I’m not the only one who prizes this product. Just don’t all rush at once to buy it, because I’m running low.
