This will be a recurring post where our Beautypendents answer five questions. Suggest your own interrogation questions in the comments!
#1 – What product popped your make-up cherry?
WENDY: Lip gloss. My mother said I could start wearing one item of makeup when I was sixteen, and that’s what she chose. It didn’t stop me from borrowing other girls’ makeup in the school bathroom, though. I’d come home and she’d make me wash it off.
JENN: For my face, it was eyeliner, and I believe it was at age 15. However, I think I was allowed to wear nail polish before that.
#2 – Guiltiest TV pleasure?
WENDY: HBO’s True Blood, STARZ’s Spartacus, and AMC’s The Walking Dead (new season starts October 16!!)
JENN: I have a tendency to watch (and love) E! reality TV shows. Latest favorite was Ice Loves Coco, but Kendra comes back later this month!
#3 – When I grow up, I want to be …
WENDY: That’s a hard one! I love what I do now for a living, and I love writing this blog! I think maybe a Landscape Architect? I’m a pretty good gardener…well, except this year when the stupid sun is killing everything and there’s no rain in sight.
JENN: … rich enough that I can “summer” outside of Texas. My front runner for a summer spot right now is somewhere in the Puget Sound. Unless I’m really, really rich, and then it’s Paris 365 days a year.
#4 – Any pets?
WENDY: I have an 18 year old Burmese cat named Newton, a 1 year old Tonkinese cat named Ollie, and I just got a pound puppy I named Morgan. I got the dog for Ollie, so he stops trying to “play” with Newton by tackling the old guy:They’re on their way to being BFFs:
JENN: I have the awesomest dog in the world, Dylan. She’s a nearly six-year-old wheeleroo – part whippet, part red heeler, part kangeroo. Did I mention she’s awesome?
#5 – Favorite body part (your own, not someone else’s)
WENDY: If you read my review of Chanel’s Peridot you know it WAS my feet….
JENN: This will sound ridiculous, but I think I have a pretty great behind. I don’t take too much credit personally, though. I think it’s mostly genetics.
